Owner Ignacio Alvarez "Nacho" established Alvarez Hardscaping, Inc. in May of 2004 after 11 years of experience in the industry and a strong desire to start his own paving company. When he did his first job at the Providence Village subdivision in Gurnee, IL he had to borrow a pickup truck and all the necessary tools to do the work. At the end of the project the homeowners were so happy with the results they referred the young company to their friends and colleagues at work.

Alvarez Hardscaping, Inc. installs both concrete and clay pavers as well as natural stone, including Bluestone, Limestone (Flagstone, Lannonstone, etc.) and Granite Cobbles. Applications include driveways, walkways, patios, pool decks, seat walls, retaining walls, fire places, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, decorative walls, columns and signage.
